To cuff or not to cuff?

So my jeans have pretty much been perpetually cuffed for this entire year. Sometimes it is neat, sometimes sloppy. Sometimes high. Sometimes low. Oftentimes a combination of these. My question is, "Does the adorability/comfort factor make up for my suspicion that cuffing potentially makes my legs look stumpy?" I do not know the answer. I haven't yet used the 10 second timer on my camera yet, so let's combine projects and look at the evidence:

Hmm. That didn't come out quite as I expected. You should note that the stuff in the background is pretty clear. This is all I could muster up working with a 60mm lens and 12 inch mini tripod. I have issues with taking my picture in a mirror, so I was running around the camera and hoping to stand in the appropriate spot during these photos. Given more time and dedication, I'm sure I still could have taken clearer pictures. Unfortunately for you, my time and dedication to photography was temporarily coopted by television (Teacher. Mother. Secret lover.). Perhaps I will work on a fuller length picture. Give me a few months to build up the energy for that.

In any case, I have been especially feeling the high tops with cuffed jeans. Who's with me on that? Speaking of high tops, note the wonderfulness of this particular pair. Yes, the pair that I lusted over and mourned. The pair that taunted me with its unavailability, then surfaced as soon as I really needed to save up my money. My love for them overruled my practical side. Let's take a closer look.

I know! RIGHT! But what I really really like in these shoes is the texture. Observe:

!!!1!!1!!!!

Ok, back to the original point of this whole thing. Sometimes I am unsure as to whether rolling up/cuffing/pegging/whatever you want to call is a good thing. Clearly, I enjoy it, but there have been those that disagree with me. You can't really make that call without a full length picture, but simply in terms of shoes, I <3 the cuffing. I really do.

In case no one has realized this. This whole post was a roundabout way of reveling in my shoes. Worth it.

I think your cuffs are cute.

ummmm next time put a box or something big enough where you're going to stand so that the camera is focused, then after setting self timer go stand where the box is.

I like the shoe texture, the cuffs look sloppy.

oo. That's clever. I will do that next time (if I remember). Sometimes I like the sloppiness. But sometimes I think I need someone on hand at all times to tell me when I just need to roll things down. :-/
